We are seeking a sharp technical leader to help us create public-facing applications for our US Government agency client. You will be implementing complex business practices in a challenging, technically advanced environment with the best teammates and the best software tools. We are building the next-generation systems that will improve our clients’ work lives and better serve the American public.
We need a take-charge individual with at least eight years of hands-on coding experience. A person who knows how to build effective code quickly and how to increase the value of their work with initiative and imagination. A leader who has also worked through tough challenges and knows how to get the best out of their team.
To be successful in this position you must be able to produce high-quality software, communicate well with peers and clients, and have the desire to get better at your craft everyday.

| Responsibilities |
• Lead and work in small, high-performance teams developing enterprise-level web
applications
• Serve as senior technologist: being fully capable of designing and developing code,
configuring environments, and deploying technical solutions - all while mentoring and
instructing teammates
• Support quick-turnaround software development in a dynamic and highly visible
environment

| Requirements |
• Complete proficiency in Java JEE5 application development
• Experience with Web 2.0 technologies and tools, especially Web API involving XML or
JSON, RSS, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, JavaScript libraries (jQuery/YUI/ExtJS),
CSS
• Experience with server-side application development, preferably including Web
Services (REST and SOAP), EJB3, JPA, Hibernate, JSP, JSF
• Experience with RDBMS, preferably Oracle, Sybase
• Proven team leadership and development skills on successful enterprise-wide
application development projects
• Knowledge in JRules (Business Rule engine), Actionscript/Flash, ESB, JMS, and SSO is
a plus
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
